Brock Lesnar will return to WWE on Raw next week

Brock Lesnar will return to WWE on Raw next week

Brock Lesnar will return to WWE on Aug. 1 during next week’s episode of Raw, it was announced on Monday night.
Lesnar, who last wrestled at WrestleMania 32 on April 3 and beat Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Street Fight match, has been on leave in the weeks surrounding his bout with Mark Hunt at UFC 200.
After defeating Hunt by unanimous decision, Lesnar was notified of two positive drug tests by the USADA—one test was performed out-of-competition, and the other was taken on the night of the fight. The WWE has not come down on Lesnar with any punishment, and by the looks of it, it does not plan to.

WWE Won’t Punish Brock Lesnar for Failed UFC 200 Drug Tests

WWE has declined to suspend Brock Lesnar following his recent failed drug tests.
A spokesman for WWE confirmed to TMZ Sports that only full-time members of the active roster are covered under the company's wellness policy. Since Lesnar only wrestles part time, he doesn't fit that criteria.

Tuesday's news from WWE doesn't come as a surprise. The company announced Monday night on Twitter that Lesnar would appear on the Aug. 1 edition of Raw:

WWE to name Daniel Bryan general manager of SmackDown

WWE to name Daniel Bryan general manager of SmackDown

WWE saved a big announcement for the end of Raw on Monday night when Vince McMahon showed up to put his son Shane in charge of SmackDown and his daughter Stephanie in charge of Raw.
In the process, the promotion appears to have spoiled another major announcement that wasn't supposed to come until next week.
Mr. McMahon said Stephanie and Shane must name a general manager for each of their respective shows before the WWE Draft takes place during SmackDown

WWE is finally giving the WWE Universe exactly what they have been asking

WWE Rumors: Dean Ambrose Dropping WWE Championship To Seth Rollins On Raw Next Week

WWE is finally giving the WWE Universe exactly what they have been asking for ever since The Shield broke up. At WWE Battleground, there will be a triple threat match for the WWE Championship that will see Dean Ambrose defend the title against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. It’s a match WWE has been building for two years.
During this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, it was confirmed by WWE that Ambrose will defend the WWE title before Battleground. In fact, he’ll defend it against Seth Rollins just six days before the PPV, and only one day before the WWE Draft that will determine which brand every WWE superstar will be headed to after Battleground is over.

WWE Rumors: Vince Mcmahon Leaning Towards Breaking Up The New Day

WWE Rumors: Vince Mcmahon Leaning Towards Breaking Up The New Day

WWE has a unique problem to deal with before the WWE draft and brand split next week. The current WWE World Tag Team Champions, The New Day, are not only in danger of losing their championship to The Wyatt Family at WWE Battleground  but the trio is at risk of being separated by the WWE Draft.

It’s been heavily rumored over the past few weeks that WWE officials are considering breaking up The New Day because they feel that the stable was peaked with nowhere to go but down. The WWE Draft provides an opportunity for the group to be disbanded without featuring it on WWE programming, which many look at as a lost opportunity for the three men.

Dean Ambrose fined for using nunchucks?

Dean Ambrose fined for using nunchucks?

At WWE Money in the Bank, fans went crazy when Seth Rollins beat Roman Reigns cleanly in the ring. It was a shock to many, as most expected Roman Reigns to retain at least through WWE SummerSlam this August. The reason Reigns would drop the title became clear two days later when it was found he tested positive for a banned substance under the WWE Wellness Policy. Regardless, Rollins did as he said he would and beat the Samoan Powerhouse.

Dean Ambrose has worked hard in his career and winning a World Title is clearly a big deal for his career. Interestingly, this entire thing set up a triple threat possibility for WWE Battleground as Reigns and Rollins both deserve rematches for the WWE World Title. This does make sense and the match with these three had to happen before the WWE Draft took place. Once the brand split becomes official, it seems obvious that WWE won’t keep all three former Shield members on the same brand.

Brock Lesnar’s ‘UFC 200’ win is actually bad news for WWE

Brock Lesnar’s ‘UFC 200’ win is actually bad news for WWE

Five years after being forced to leave the UFC due to health issues, Brock Lesnar made a commanding return to the MMA company at their “UFC 200” event, beating Mark Hunt by unanimous decision.
While this is a time of a celebration for Lesnar and MMA fans everywhere, it’s not all good news. Lesnar has gotten a taste of cage fighting again and knows he can be great within UFC, but it puts his regular employer WWE in a tight spot.
Lesnar is a contracted WWE Superstar who works a part-time schedule and is next set to appear at the company’s “SummerSlam” in August. The bout has already been announced, as he’ll be taking on a returning Randy Orton.

WWE Has Missed A Golden Opportunity With Lesnar/UFC 200

WWE Has Missed A Golden Opportunity With Lesnar/UFC 200

Less than 24 hours away from Brock Lesnar’s much-anticipated return to the octagon at ‘UFC 200′ to square off with Mark Hunt, the return seems like something is missing in regards to WWE’s involvement.

WWE has mostly distanced itself from talking about the bout at length. Despite horrendous ratings and a product that is limping mightily to the ‘WWE Draft’ and brand split, WWE has managed to miss a major opportunity.

John Cena headed to SmackDown, Roman Reigns to lead Raw

John Cena headed to SmackDown, Roman Reigns to lead Raw

According to Forbes WWE will put John Cena on SmackDown, while Roman Reigns remains on Raw. The split gives each show a true headliner.

More importantly, it positions SmackDown to have WWE's biggest star of the past decade front and center when the show shifts to Tuesday live airings on the USA Network. Some might be surprised to see Reigns given headlining status on Raw, considering he was recently suspended for violating WWE's drug policy. However, it was unlikely the organization would split up former Shield members Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, who seem on a collision course for WrestleMania 33.

Could The Rock Fight Bray Wyatt at ‘WrestleMania 33’?

Dwayne Johnson speaks at the WrestleMania XXVII press conference

In an interview on SportsCenter this week, WWE’s BrayWyatt teased a possible match between himself and The Rock for next year’s WrestleMania.
Wyatt said on the program that following WrestleMania 32, he and Dwayne Johnson have unfinished business.

“Being out there with The Rock…It was cool, I guess I would say, but I would also have to admit that we have unfinished business,” he said. “And if he’s listening, if he’s watching, Rock, I would love to finish it at WrestleMania 33.”
