WWE Superstar Paige Considering Neck Surgery. May Miss Significant Time on Monday Night Raw

24-year-old Saraya-Jade Bevis, who performs under the ring name Paige, has been absent from the WWE since June.  Although Paige’s month-long suspension for violation of the WWE Wellness Policy ended more than a week ago, she was somehow absent from the last two editions of Monday Night RAW. And now we know why, as the 24-year-old “Anti-Diva” said in a tweet Thursday afternoon that she will be undergoing neck surgery.

That certainly sounds dire, although Paige also wrote that it’s time for her to get the neck fixed so she can come back to the ring, so it seems the injury may not be career-ending.

Even though the rumor mill has continued to churn that injury or no injury, Paige is leaving WWE — her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio just left the company for a second time — she recently addressed the rumors and said she is going nowhere.

Paige is just the latest in a number of WWE Superstars who have landed on the operating table in recent months, most notably being Finn Bálor, who earlier this week underwent a stem cell transplant to try and help speed the recovery process of his injured shoulder along.

Former WWE Star Ryback In Talks With Bellator MMA. Said he has interest in fighting for Bellator

As noted, former WWE star Ryback appeared on a Las Vegas radio show and revealed that he is currently in talks with the Bellator MMA promotion and is open to fighting.

Ryback left the WWE this summer, unhappy with his push, to take independent bookings. Ryback, 34, was a WWE regular who left the company over contract issues in May and was officially released in August.  He has teased joining TNA and now Bellator. We do know that The Big Guy has done at least some MMA training since leaving WWE this summer.

While having mixed success as fighters, pro wrestlers like Lashley, Brock Lesnar and Punk have all done well as far as drawing television viewers or on pay-per-view. Lashley and Lesnar were both high-level amateur wrestlers, with Lashley winning three NAIA titles and being an Olympic hopeful, and Lesnar winning an NCAA title. Before he became famous in the U.S., Alberto Rodriguez, better known as Alberto Del Rio, posted a 9-5 record in MMA, but he was also a highly rated Greco-Roman style wrestler in his youth.

It seems like another former WWE superstar is leaving the squared circle for the octagon. Ryan Reeves, better known by his ring name “Ryback” is strongly considering a jump from the pro wrestling world to the world of MMA.

On Monday night Raw, Roman Reigns and Rusev continued their physical rivalry with a WWE Clash of Champions rematch. During the climactic stages of the WWE Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, Owens connected with a scary looking gutbuster from the top rope on Rollins. 

The night after Clash of Champions, there are a ton of questions to answer. Is Seth Rollins and Cesaro healthy. How will the best-of-seven series be settled after Sunday night’s inconclusive seventh match.

With some spirited mic work, Foley tells Sheamus and Cesaro they could be a special tag team. He mentions them facing The New Day on Monday Night Raw.

I’m not sure Kofi’s face will hold up for that one. Mick Foley has the nerve to question Stephanie’s intentions and integrity because of her actions during the CoC main event.

John Cena lost clean to Dean Ambrose on this week’s WWE SmackDown, the latest sign that the old Cena who beat anyone and everyone in his path is officially long gone.

John Cena has been the face of WWE for over a decade, but his time as the company’s top star is clearly coming to an end. Not only is Cena’s schedule looking more and more like that of a part-time wrestler, but he’s losing more matches than ever before.

In fact, if Cena proved anything on the latest episode of SmackDown when he lost 100 percent clean to Ambrose, it’s that he doesn’t deserve the constant criticism he continues to get. It needs to stop. Now. And for good.

The Rock set for a dream rematch with Brock Lesnar soon? Rumours have been doing the rounds that 'Fast 8' star Dwayne Johnson, aka, The Rock could be facing combat athlete Brock Lesnar pretty soon, with the possible events being WWE Clash ofChampions 2016, scheduled for later this month or WrestleMania 33, scheduled for April next year.

A possible rematch or a 'The Rock vs Brock Lesnar 2' was teased by pro wrestling legend Paul Heyman, who is also the advocate of the combat athlete. "

While “The Rock’s” star power is big, Heyman expectedly turned the tables and instead boasts that it would be Brock Lesnar who will be the star of the show. Though all that may depend on perspective, the dish is hardly comes as a surprise.

Brock Lesnar and The Rock are two of biggest WWE superstars and main draws that will surely make the company a lot of money. Both superstars are rumored to have a match at WrestleMania 33 next year and the latest speculations are about the possibility of Lesnar vs. Rock II.

 Kevin Owens will face Seth Rollins at WWE Clash of Champions for the Universal Championship in a match that, on paper, is exactly what Raw’s first pay-per-view headlining match should be. “The Game” is the main reason why Owens is currently the Universal Champion and why both Rollins and Reigns aren’t, having cost the latter two a chance at winning the title less than a month ago.

Paige and Eva Marie WWE Suspensions end. Monday Night Raw is the soonest we could see Paige back "This is My House"

 Both Eva Marie and Paige can now return to the ring as their respective 30-day suspensions for violating WWE’s talent wellness policy has ended. Paige could return as soon as this Monday on Raw. However  As of Friday Paige is not medically cleared to wrestle. she effectively quit WWE and retained legal representation to get out of her contract. She was all but gone from the company and plans were in place to announce her release. Cooler heads prevailed and she’ll be back in the ring once she’s healthy.

Monday is the soonest we could see Paige back on television, as her 30-day suspension will be completed. But don’t expect to see her in the ring on RAW unless she gets cleared by show time.

The combination of the sex tape, the audio that leaked of Hogan using some inflammatory language, and the trial with Gawker was too much for WWE to handle. There have been rumors of Hulk Hogan returning to WWE for Wrestlemania32, but the rumors have gone up in smoke as opportunities continue to slip by for Hulk Hogan to bury the hatchet and move onto the future of WWE with Hogan by the company’s side.

The fact is that Hulk Hogan is getting older as well. It’s not an excuse. However, the Chyna situation taught people a lot of things about acknowledging a performer’s achievements while they’re still with us. At this point, Hogan has gone through the ringer, his personal life has been cleaned, he’s served some hard time in exile, so it’s understandable why WWE would be considering bringing him back. The question is when is the right time.

Shelton Benjamin is still expected to start working for WWE when he's able to, which should be in around 6 months.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon sustains injury needs surgery after suffering injury during workout

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon may be 71 years old, but he's still in tremendous shape and trains regularly. WWE announced Monday that McMahon suffered an injury that will force him to undergo surgery, but he'll be back in the office later this week.

With this being WWE, there's always the chance McMahon's injury is a part of some bigger storyline on Raw or SmackDown Live. The 71-year-old infamously "died" in June 2007 when his limousine exploded:

WWE News: Alberto Del Rio Officially Released by Company. WWE Releases Alberto Del Rio, Paige's Future Also In Doubt. CM Punk Blogs On If He Misses WWE, Renee Young Note

Earlier today, the WWE announced that they'd come to terms with Alberto Del Rio, a WWE Superstar who'd been suspended about three weeks prior (along with his girlfriend and WWE Superstar Paige) for his first Wellness Policy Violation.

WWE has released Alberto Del Rio from his contract with the company, and his real-life girlfriend Paige could be on her way out as well.

WWE.com sent out the following statement early Friday announcing Del Rio’s release:

WWE and Jose Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) have mutually agreed upon the terms of his release as of today, September 9, 2016.

Del Rio returned to the company at Hell in a Cell just last October, where he shockingly defeated John Cena to win the United States Championship. But his career was all downhill from there, highlighted by a failed run as a member of the League of Nations and a general lack of a push.

Things really took a turn for the worse last month when both Del Rio and Paige were suspended on August 18 for violating the company’s Talent Wellness Program. This came not long after a bizarre incident involving both superstars at Money in the Bank, one in which Paige was reportedly detained by police.

Here are some highlights from the press conference, courtesy of S E S coops:

“Alberto said he did not feel comfortable in WWE anymore. He was losing his passion for wrestling and had nothing left to prove in WWE. He asked to be released and the request was granted.

He is free to work in Mexico immediately. He can work anywhere in the United States starting next month. There is no 90-day no-compete clause.”

On one corner is the most dominant force in professional wrestling today. He broke the Undertaker's WrestleMania streak, introduced several superstars to Suplex City, and struck fear into the hearts of many others.

On the opposite end is one of the most beloved wrestlers in WCW and WWE history. He reportedly went 173-0 against WCW competitors and "speared" through the biggest of names in the WWE ring.

BillGoldberg has hinted at a possible return to WWE despite his age. The former WCW and WWE champion is 49 years old.

Goldberg also ignited talks of a possible match with Brock Lesnar when the interviewer suggested Brock Lesnar as his opponent in the near future. The wrestler responded to the suggestion by blowing his nose on a T-shirt with the Beast's name imprinted on it and ripping it in half.

"I don't know, can I still do this? Man, I still can do it at 49. Brock, you're next," Goldberg said.

Lesnar ruled over the ring for the longest time since his return. He destroyed John Cena, the Undertaker and, most recently, Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016. That last match ended with Lesnar cutting Orton's head open and the Viper needed 18 staples to patch the wound up.

However, a rematch between the two would not be likely in the near future as Orton got inserted to a feud with Bray Wyatt. This leaves The Beast open to fight anyone the WWE could throw at him

Update on Eva Marie's status, suspension; will she still get pushed? Eva Marie Filming for Total Divas in Bahamas Despite WWE Suspension

Eva Marie is in the midst of her 30-day suspension for violating the WWE Wellness Policy but she is apparently having a good time. According to the latest rumors, she was able to film scenes for "Total Divas" at the Bahamas despite being suspended.

Despite recently getting suspended for a WWE Wellness Policy violation, WWE Superstar Eva Marie is reportedly still taking part in filming for the reality series, Total Divas. In fact, Eva Marie and her husband, Jonathan Coyle, are currently in the Bahamas with The Miz and Maryse and filming material for the show.

WWE superstars who star on "Total Divas" are under a deal with the E! Network and not the WWE. She is eligible to return from suspension on September 18, a day before her birthday, but she will miss SmackDown Live's first brand-exclusive pay-per-view, Backlash.

Before her suspension, Eva Marie was in-line for a huge push and she was even rumored to be a favorite in winning the SmackDown Women's Championship. The WWE also found a way to get her even more heat by getting out of matches due to several outrageous reasons.

The "Total Divas" star has been a heat magnet ever since she signed with the WWE but she has improved in the ring. Since she is coming from a suspension, her push will be delayed with Nikki Bella being groomed to win the SmackDown Women's title.

Interviewer Jonny Gayle then suggested Brock Lesnar as an opponent, and Goldberg responded by blowing his nose on a Lesnar shirt and ripping it in half. 

Hype has been building for a potential Goldberg comeback for months, and 2K has been stealthily hinting at a Goldberg-Brock Lesnar showdown. Both wrestlers have been very active in promoting the game - Lesnar's on the cover, while Goldberg is a pre-order bonus - and fans inside the Barclays Center even chanted Goldberg's name at the end of SummerSlam, hoping the former World Heavyweight Champion would make an entrance after Randy Orton had been busted open. 

The rumours of a Goldberg return have been hot ever since he was announced as a playable character in WWE2K17, and it has been fueled even more by his appearances for 2K17 promotion. One of the reasons that people believe that there is a higher possibility now more than ever is because of the history of legends who had not been spoken of for years being announced for a 2K character and then appearing on WWE Television.

Goldberg is now 49 years old, but he still looks to be in tremendous shape. He could definitely hit a few spears and jackhammers without much trouble.

This Week In WWE Triple H Vs. Seth Rollins, Goldberg Return, The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan?, More Triple H vs. Seth Rollins Likely For WWE WrestleMania 33

Triple H shockingly turned on Seth Rollins on last week’s Raw, hitting him with a pedigree that allowed Kevin Owens to win the Universal Championship.

TripleH returned after a hiatus of nearly five months to cost his former protégé, Seth Rollins the championship by attacking him with a pedigree.

Triple H attacked Rollins on Raw

The Game then himself handed Owens the new championship as to take him under his wings, thereafter whereas Stephanie McMahon and the GM, Mick Foley could not believe their eyes.

Kevin Owens celebrated shouting “it’s my show” aftermath as the crowd chanted “you deserve it”. Before leaving the ring, Triple H had a stare-down with his wife and Mick Foley.

He will be the face of the Raw brand and hence his babyface turn is evident. He will challenge Owens for the new Universal Championship.

In addition, he will continue to carry his feud with Triple H, too which will finally culminate their dream match at Wrestlemania 33 into fruition.

It is worthy to mention that this match was originally planned for Wrestlemania 32 but got cancelled once Rollins was out of action due to the knee injury.

WWE 'Smackdown Live' : Finn Balor needs stiches, Headbangers return, Daniel Bryan responds to the Miz, Nikki Bella becomes a filler!

Smack down Live kept kind of chugging along. There were no major surprises or even any particularly interesting matches, but the blue show keeps trucking along with easy-to-watch wrestling. It will deliver a fun use of your time is a comforting feeling.

The show opened with a footage of last week’s The Miz’s promo on “Talking Smack.” But Miz cut another promo when Maryse and Miz were already in the ring. He also went on to say that the fans were cowards and they were cheering for the wrong people.

Slater and Rhyno advanced to the semifinals by beating the bleeping Head bangers , who made their return to a WWE ring after sixteen years.

Carmella continuing to get heel heat is a pleasant discovery, and Alexa Bliss really is coming into her own on the mainroster. Nikki Bella just does not work as a face, Becky Lynch should be the top good gal on the blue brand,

It all comes down to two main things, really: better, more economical writing and better use of talent from top to bottom.
